Who is responsible

This site, rewitness.dev, is run by Arkadiusz Kubaczkowski, who is the data controller for the personal data described here. Rewitness is not yet a registered company. For anything about your data, write to arek.kubaczkowski@gmail.com.

Visiting the site

Analytics. We count visits with Plausible Analytics. It sets no cookies and shows us aggregate numbers only: pages viewed, referring sites, countries, device types and clicks on the pilot buttons. We cannot see who you are from it. Our reason is our legitimate interest in knowing which pages are read (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

Hosting. The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web server, Vercel processes your IP address and request details to deliver the pages and keep the service secure.

Fonts. The Geist typeface loads from Google Fonts, so your browser sends its IP address to Google when the page opens.

Requesting a pilot

The “Request a pilot” buttons open a form hosted by Tally. It asks for your work email, your company, the size of your lives and anything you want to tell us in free text. If you arrived through a link with a ref tag, the form records that tag too.

We use this only to reply to you about a pilot (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b), steps before a contract you asked about). We keep it until the pilot conversation ends, or delete it sooner if you ask.

Data from a pilot

During a pilot, the Rewitness SDK records connection and media events from your app. Audio and video content is never recorded. How that data is processed, where it is stored and how long it is kept are set out in the pilot agreement.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how it is used, and receive it in a portable format. To do any of this, email arek.kubaczkowski@gmail.com. We reply within one month. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
